How to Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies

If you're having trouble logging in or your browser is acting oddly on CAM4, clearing your cookies and cache can help resolve these issues.

Supported Browsers

CAM4 works with the following browsers:
  • Chrome (Version 79+)
  • Firefox (Version 59+)
  • Safari (Version 10.13+)
  • Microsoft Edge (Version 79+)
  • Opera (Version 60+)

Chrome

  1. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner
  2. Go to Settings → Privacy and security
  3. Click Clear browsing data
  4. In the dialog that appears:
  • Select "All time" from the time range dropdown
  • Check "Cookies and other site data"
  • Check "Cached images and files"
  1. Click Clear data
  2. Restart Chrome

Firefox

  1. Click the three-line menu (≡) in the top-right corner
  2. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security
  3. Scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section
  4. Click Clear Data
  5. Check both "Cookies and Site Data" and "Cached Web Content"
  6. Click Clear
  7. Restart Firefox

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right corner
  2. Go to Settings → Privacy, search, and services
  3. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear
  4. Select "All time" from the time range dropdown
  5. Check "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files"
  6. Click Clear now
  7. Restart Edge

Safari

  1. In the menu bar, click Safari → Preferences (or Settings on newer versions)
  2. Click the Privacy tab
  3. Click Manage Website Data
  4. Click Remove All
  5. Click Remove Now to confirm
  6. Close Preferences
  7. Restart Safari

Opera

  1. Click the Opera menu or press Alt + P to open Settings
  2. Go to Privacy & security in the left sidebar
  3. Scroll down and click Clear browsing data
  4. Select "All time" from the time range dropdown
  5. Check "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files"
  6. Click Clear data
  7. Restart Opera

Still Having Issues?

If clearing your cache and cookies doesn't resolve your problem:
  • Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser (CAM4 requires cookies)
  • Try using a different browser from the list above
  • Try using an Incognito or Private browsing window
  • Check that you're using a supported browser version
  • Contact CAM4 support if the problem persists
