ALIYA BRYNN: “HOW PORN HAS CHANGED ME”

GROWING UP SLUTTY

Growing up in Southern California, Aliya had always been considered the neighborhood slut (a prideful description she likes to use).  and was the girl who would suck guys when given the chance  Some would call her upbringing as privileged but for her it was anything but.   Aliya understands that living in SoCal afforded her more exciting opportunities and experiences than those living in rural communities, but she continued to hustle for more than what she had.   Aliya feels that her past traumas not only helped her charge ahead but helped form the solid work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit that has helped her become successful.   Although certain folks closest to Aliya resented her choice to become a sex worker, she only looks forward with absolutely no regrets. 

HOW PORN HAS CHANGED ME

Prior to getting into webcamming, stripping, and porn, Aliya considered herself socially awkward and somewhat introverted with a bit of perpetual anxiety.   She found that porn helped change her personality is ways that not only helped her feel comfortable to connect with people but helped her professionally come out of her shell.   Keeping in mind, when she is working, she is on, but when it’s time to be home she is the type to curl up in a little ball, put on some Netflix, and forget about the world around her.

“I am really good at talking to people and making sure they feel heard.  I’ve learned through sex work that I can authentically connect with them and match their energy.  If they are fun, I can be fun; if they want someone demanding, I can be that too”.

Porn has given Aliya the strength to feel more confident and set specific boundaries within her personal and professional life. She is more vocal when feeling uncomfortable and has set specific limits on things she will and will not do.  A trait not many people are comfortable expressing during a live broadcast or porn shoot.  She is still learning how to navigate those boundaries and stand up for herself; while making sure her comfortability is at the forefront of every situation.

 “I am always learning how to apply my boundaries and confidence without just freaking out and getting upset.  It’s a work in progress and as each day goes by, I am seeming more confidence being built and having more control of what I want to do”  says Aliya.  “There was a situation one time where I was being booked for a porn scene.  They wanted to tie me up and shoot me in the pussy with a fake gun while simulating rape. When I was reading the scene description I started crying and refused to do.  I refuse to let people slap me, call me stupid, or degrade me in any manner.  For some people, they are ok with this, but for me it tends to trigger previous memories.  This is a hard no”.

STRIPPING AS A JUMPING OFF POINT               

When Aliya made the decision to leave home and figure out her next move, she knew she needed to make a move fast and it had to pay off.  Aliya says, “I basically needed to figure out right away what was I going to do to support myself.  I think most people who get into stripping don’t have a specific idea of what to expect or even how to start.  I was the exact same way.  “My first day stripping, I was so incredibly nervous.  I had no idea what I was doing but knew my dance background would come into play.  While waiting on the side of the stage, about to go on, my nerves completely got the best of me, and I threw up.  This would be the very first time dancing naked in front of a man decades older than me.“

Within Aliya’s first six months of dancing, the nerves were still present.   The butterflies would still be there but once she started to gain confidence and feeling pretty on stage, everything seemed to change.  The compliments from the men rolled in, she started feeling sexy, and people started to notice how much fun I was having on stage.  Once I gained the confidence, I was able to put on great shows.

In the world of stripping, Aliya describes her experience a little like school again.   “There’s the popular group, there’s the weirdos, the stoners, and bunch of other types.   I kind of hang out with everybody.  You will find that when first becoming a stripper there are people who will help you out.  They can teach you the ropes, give you tips, and almost take you under their wing.   For Aliya, stripping was the jump off point of her entire career.   As she continues to strip, Aliya also realized during COVID that it was important to find other avenues of income when the clubs were closed.  This is what prompted other verticals like webcamming to continue to build her fanbase and income.    

ADVICE ON THOSE WANTING TO DO PORN

The industry is continuously changing, and many individuals are interested in exploring this type of career path.  Whether it be full time, part time, or just a hobby, mainstream audiences are now contemplating skipping their 9 to 5 jobs in favor of setting up live shows.  For those wanting to get in the industry, Aliya has a specific idea and piece of advice for anyone wanting to jump in:

“The industry is based on opportunities and the people that create those opportunities.  It’s so extremely important to be nice to everybody.  Without the industry you can’t survive, and without the people you cannot grow.  Not only is being nice an important attribute but making sure you have boundaries for yourself and do not do anything you feel uncomfortable doing…it’s never worth the money. “

HER FUTURE AND HER FANS

Focused on finding peace within her life and forgiving those who may have caused pain in her past, Aliya is finding ways to become even closer with her chosen family…her loyal fans.   She takes extreme pride in building relationships with her fans, not only giving an incredible show but offering therapeutic advice is something she advocates. 

“I’m very close with them and they know a lot about my life because I go live and connect with them about specific things that are happening,” Aliya shares proudly. “I tend to be a good therapist for them, as well as a person they can jerk off to. They are my family and that’s who I chose to be close to.  I’m super special and relatable and I am going to feel good making individual connections with everybody. I truly am their girl! “ 

Aliya plans to stay in the industry forever.  Her role model Joanna Angel and Small Hands relationship is something she admires and wants to find within her own life.   “I really want to find a man in porn or outside of porn that I can create porn content with.  I think this type of relationship would be ideal and would be incredibly fun to continue sex work life with my partner.   I also want to one day raise a family who are open and non-judgmental about the industry.   I was raised extremely conservative, and I would not want to raise my family like that.   I want them to be ok with their bodies, sexuality, and learn that the adult entertainment industry is not a bad thing.   It starts with acceptance and education”

Aliya is focused on finding peace within her life, producing great webcam content, and forgiving those from her past who may not have accepted who she is.  She is incredible, a one of a kind, and a person with plenty to offer the Adult community.
