Boyhous Needs our CAM4 Support!
Who said camsites were just about sex? When one of the CAM4 community is doing something awesome (even with their clothes on) we love to help out in any way possible. Boyhous has been a part of the CAM4 community since I can remember, from performing, guest coaching, and lending fellow performers a hand in webcam success. Now it’s our chance to help him fight a cause that’s dear to his heart.
All in favor of Boyhouse say YES! Alright, here’s the details:
Susan Thixton of Truthaboutpetfood.com has started a petition asking the US government administration to require all pet food manufacturers to declare quality of the ingredients used in their food. To get a response from the White House, they need 95,000 signatures before July 5th 2015.
Boyhous is aiming to collect 2,000 signatures. If he reaches this goal, he’s putting on a 3 hour live show on July 5th @ 2pm EST.
Here’s what you can do to help Boyhous:
1. Go to https://petitions.whitehouse.gov//petition/require-pet-food-manufacturers-disclose-quality-ingredients and say yes to keeping pets safe!
2. Tweet him (@boyhous) or leave a comment on this post so he knows you’ve voted yes to pet safety!
Here’s the official outline of what this petition is fighting for:
Some cat and dog foods are made from food ingredients, just like what you’d purchase in the grocery. Other cat and dog foods are made from an inferior quality of ingredients known in the pet food industry as feed grade, pet grade, or inedible ingredients.
Feed grade, pet grade or inedible ingredient pet foods are allowed by FDA to be made from (not all inclusive):
Meat sourced from diseased, dead, or dying animals; chemical or pesticide contaminated vegetables, grains, fruits.
Pet food consumers are NOT provided with information on the pet food bag or can disclosing if ingredients are food grade or inedible feed grade/pet grade quality.
Pet food consumers deserve to know what they are buying. FDA should require pet food to disclose quality of ingredients on labels.
Last September, Boyhous lost his boxer Bobo due to health complications related to diet. With better information and control over ingredients in pet food, we can prevent others from losing their best friends and fur babies. Susan is a true and angel helping pets and consumers distinguish the real truth within the pet food industry.
Susan Thixton is a pet food safety advocate and founding partner of the International Pet Food Consumer Association. She also holds an advisory position to AAFCO’s Pet Food Comittee and Ingredient Definitons Committee.

I think issues like this are very important, especially for those who have pets and love pets in general. Even for people like myself who used to own pets, it’s an important issue to stand up for, and I’m proud to show my support. Definitely signed!
