Can you tell us about yourself and how long you have been creating on CAM4?
Hi, everyone. I’m Vee_Jeen. I’ve been on CAM4. For about the last three years. I started camming in 2020 during the pandemic, and, yeah, I have had a blast camming and just love hanging out and having fun.
What’s the experience of camming been like for you? Would you say that luck plays a role in the potential for success in Camming?
I am going to be such a sourpuss here and say that I don’t believe in luck a whole lot, which I know is not the point of this. But I don’t believe in luck necessarily. But I do believe in the opportunities that come up if you put the energy out there.
I believe that you need to make things happen. And for me, making great relationships with people and saying yes to things help open up possibilities. If you put that energy out there, whether or not it’s someone’s intention, things will come back to you. Things will start to emerge that are maybe opportunities you didn’t have before.
We’ve been hearing a lot about broadcasters saying they don’t believe in the idea of luck in this business. But you know, it’s undeniable that out of nowhere, some days you turn on your stream and this giant spender comes in and just makes your day and you’re hitting room goal after room goal. Do you think there’s a science to forecasting how this might happen or a way of conjuring this kind of good luck?
You know, that’s a really good point. I hadn’t thought about it that way. I guess that is like a lucky happenstance. I think consistency might also help with that situation, because if you are consistence and that guy came once, he could come back again. I guess it is luck if that one day they happened to find you, potentially some luck is there.
So now that we’ve got you believing in luck. What’s the big win for you?
Have there been any experiences that have made you feel lucky in your time here with CAM4. Is there anything that comes to mind?
Well, as I mentioned, I don’t know that I’m lucky. I think that I am open and I say yes to a lot of things. I think being present is very important. Camming consistently and experiencing those days where a big spender enters your room is fantastic. There is a relief knowing that your bills are paid for which is a great feeling.
Throughout my journey and experience as a creator, I am always thinking about the bigger picture. What does my career look like in this industry? I hope it continues to grow with CAM4 and that I continue to make great relationships. I feel very lucky that I was able to join CAM4, Tempted and the Naked & Uncut Tulum adventure.
That was such an amazing experience. Learned a ton, made a ton of content, which I’m very excited to share. These experiences of building relationships led me to have these opportunities.
Do you have any advice for people in the biz?
The best advice I can give is to just be yourself. Let your personality come out. Don’t try to be what you see other people being, because that’s not necessarily going to work for you. Put people and humanity in front of just wanting to making money. That’s really what’s going to bring you luck in this industry.
