UPDATE: What a great way to start the week! We’ve reached 10,000 followers on Twitter this morning, so we’re preparing our CAM4 Scavenger Hunt (see below). The contest begins this Wednesday, June 8th 2011 at 12:00 (EDT) and will run for 48 hours until Friday at 12:00 (EDT). Afterwards, we’ll be choosing a winner for our grand prize of 10,000 tokens! Giving away 10,000 tokens for reaching 10,000 Twitter followers only makes sense right? We thought so too.
On Wednesday we are going to hide three special tokens on cam4.com in the colours of red, blue, and purple (like below). When you have found one, click it to tweet your entry into the contest. You are allowed to enter a maximum of three entries into the contest.

I know this isn’t the support section but I would like to expose a problem that probably you are already aware off: an hour ago for example there were 3 beautiful girls online, with a lot of viewers and their cams crashed and they couldn’t come back online.
Now why should I tip a girl to do something if when she start doing it a lot of people will enter her room and she get kicked offline?
I can only imagine the amount of bandwidth this site require and the difficulties even using a CDN, but things like this makes thing like the 10,000 Token Scavenger Hunt useless.

Cam4 cannot control when performers go offline/online or if they have connection problems. There are no requirements to tip. Tip if you like the performer.
we will find the color medals in someone’s broadcast?? or is it somewhere else.

I just can’t broadcast! I’ve been trying since april and i just can’t anymore. Before that the site was working but now the broadcast screen just keep “thinking” and doesn’t give me the choice to accept open my can. I can do it in any other website but cam4. i’ve already tried everything, from changing my browser to changing OS. Nothing works. What’s happening?

Could you please remove the “autodiscovery” of my location to set the language?.
I’m german and I don’t want to use the german language on here. The translation is not good but my main problem is that there is the option to change the language, but in my case the “english” language redirects to www.cam4.com which redirects me to the german site. I even have the language set to en-us in my localization settings (firefox). If I want to see this outdated page design in german I go do de.cam4.com
Please stop forcing me to watch your site in german… my eyes already hurt from all the non-english speaking people in the chat.

If you set your language in your Cam4 profile to English then you will get the Cam4 site in English. Also if you switch your browser to English then you will get the English Cam4 site.
