Cam4 increases prizes to $15,000 each month!
Starting March 2011, Cam4 will double the amount of money given away in the Cam of The Month contest. Not only has the amount of money given away increased but the number of prizes has increased as well, making it easier for you to win some cash.
Here is how the new prize structure works.
Four sets of prizes will be awarded in each of the four catagories – Male, Female, Couple and Shemale Cam of the Month. The amounts of the prizes have been doubled and 4th place will now be paid out as well. So winners will now recieve
1st place = $2,000
2nd place = $1,000
3rd place = $500
4th place = $250
Total = $3,750 x 4 catagories = $15,000/month in prizes each month
How can I win?
You still win a Cam of the Month award by earning the most points in the month. You earn points each day by placing 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th in the Cam of The Day contest. Points are awarded for the performers that have the most viewers each day. The following points are awarded in each of these our catagories – Male, Female, Couple and Shemale.
1st place – 4 points
2nd place – 3 points
3rd place – 2 points
4th place – 1 points

Tokens earned on Cam4 are transferred to Cam4 Bucks. You will have an account there with the same username and password as Cam4 once you have performed. Go there and you can request a payment.

Ya I get that. What I’m saying is while they are broadcasting they are taking viewers away from the girls that are not a couple. I think its fair to say that most viewers will click female first to see what’s up then will go to couples if there isn’t anybody grabbing their interest. So when a dude goes to female and then sees 2 chicks even if they arnt interesting or sexy or trying for anything. The dudes gonna watch for a while. Thus taking numbers from girls who are supposed to be in that area. Girl couples always make it to the top of the list in no time at all because let’s face it…that’s hot. But its still not fair. Even if they arnt winning cam of the day. That’s just not the point I was making. I feel they should be moved into couples area or girl girl area (when its created in the future) by mods or admins right away. I just feel we all would benifit from a tighter more strict reign of sexy time…..

The admins will switch people to a correct catagory but it’s a low priority. They are more concerned with dealing with underage people, spammers, scammers and abusive people.
Yeah same thing goes for the female area. The girls are in pairs now taking all the viewers from the solo girls. Now I know those girls can’t get cam of the for that day but they are taking viewers away from solo girls. My wife gets pissed when she’s number 2 because two chicks are teasing and she’s going all out. And when u report these people nothing happens. We need mods in there booting them or atleast telling them that they need to broadcast in couples. Its just not fair

A couple is more then one person. So two girls would be classified as a couple for the awards. We check the winners each day and if there are two girls on cam winning a female award, they are moved. You don’t have to worry about reporting it. We may make more catagories for two girls and single guys in the future.
I think you should thing something a bit about male and shemale cams, separating couples from them. Currently it’s very difficult for a single male to get cam of the day, since there are always 2,3 or even more guys camming on “male”, and 2 guys always get more attention than 1. The same goes with shemales. It’s just the thing that I see on cam4 for already long time, there are really nice guys without any awards as well as shemales, while they really are worth much more. Talking about female cams, everything is just perfect with them – solo female. But there is too much loaded into male and shemale. Also what about “party”, it doesn’t have too much meaning kinda.

Thanks for writing. Cam4 is considering other catagories for prizes. Perhaps in the future they will do single guys and or single shemales.
