Most mainstream films do contain sex scenes to make the films more appealing, but most actors and actresses do not go completely naked in the nude scenes.
For example, they just wear skin-coloured underwear, or they have a body double. It is staged.
lso, the scenes for the big screen are initially filmed in such a way that it mainly works the suggestion of sex, and does not show real sex. We love real sex scenes, so it was with great pleasure that we searched for the sex scenes where two actors for the exception shot a scene that contains real sex, but also their genitals are just visible. Nymphomaniac
With Lars von Trier, you are almost always guaranteed an extraordinary and exciting film, often full of raw emotion. It is never just another love story with only one goal, to make you feel comfortable. Surely Lars von Trier has been, and still is, a revolution in television.
By the title, you can probably already imagine a little about the how and what. Before they started filming, Von Trier already made it clear to the world that this film would contain explicit sex scenes, here actors Shia LaBeouf and Stacey Martin were also totally okay with it. Until a sex scene was actually filmed, then they backtracked. Von Trier solved this by using the bodies of a porn star. So during the sex scenes, two porn actors have real sex, and the heads of the lead actors were later pasted on top in the editing. Bit of a shame, we think, but definitely real sex on screen!
The Brown Bunny
The Brown Bunny, is one of the films that is a bit weirder. They took advantage of their relationship with each other to deliver this feat of acting.
Chloe Sevigny got the role in The Brown Bunny from Vincent Gallo the writer, who also became her antagonist whom she had to give a real blow job on camera at the end of the film. In the interview afterwards, she said she didn’t find that a problem at all, as they had been intimate before. For them it was nothing new, for Hollywood it was!
The film was not thunderously received by critical viewers, the sex did not make the actors or the scenes better. So Hollywood sex scenes don’t always make a film better.
9 Songs
When 9 Songs came out in 2004, it caused quite a stir in media land. With lots of in-your-face sex scenes and nine concerts, the film takes you into the brief and intense relationship between Matt and Lisa. Every scene the actors had unsimulated sex with each other. And these were quite extreme. So there was real masturbation, real oral sex, real penetration and even ejaculations. To this day, 9 Songs is known as the most sexually explicit mainstream film.
Baise Moi
This classic from France tells the story of Manu (Raffäela Anderson) and Nadine (Karin Bach). They are both young but have already had difficult lives. By a twist of fate, the two women meet. They decide to stay together, combine their two favourite pastimes, sex and violence, and enjoy life. Such a thing can never last long. The film is raw and intense, you are quickly sucked into this particularly violent world.
The title of this film translates to rape me, which is of course pretty intense. Reviews are therefore harsh on this film, and in some countries the film has also been banned.

You might have known that a Dutch film would be in this list of Hollywood sex scenes, though of course they are homegrown films and not from Hollywood. Emancipated as we are, Dutch cinema is often full of bare tits and even penises and explicit sex scenes. Think Turks Fruit or Zomerhitte. Director Paul Verhoeven is known for this, and he allows it to be more exhibitionistic. In his 1980 film Spetters, breasts, buttocks, dicks and vaginas fly around your ears. Sex has the lead role in the film and there is even a focus on homosexual relationships. In 2012, the film was re-released in an uncensored version. In it, numerous explicit scenes of oral and anal sex appear that have not been shown before.

Wij
Wij is a 2018 Belgian-Dutch production that has caused quite a stir. The film Wij is about a group of rebellious 17-year-olds living on the border of the Netherlands and Belgium; they meet every day in summer in a border village. Simon, the shy intellectual, has a huge crush on Femke. Ruth, who follows them closely, is secretly in love with Simon. The wildly charismatic Thomas, an unscrupulous businessman in the making, decides to start a kitsch sex site for which they shoot porn scenes.
Ruth is the first to have paid sex when the group ventures into prostitution. But when Femke gets involved in an accident, the atmosphere within the group suddenly changes…
The story is told by several actors, which gives it a special insight into the life of a young sex worker, among other things. Also, the story seems to be based on a true story, which of course makes it a lot more interesting, but also more intense.
