Nikki Night’s Camming Con Tips on The Daily Dot
Last week Nikki Night was down in Miami to kick off the first annual Camming Con at the Eden Roc Hotel. Much like ComicCon, this serves as an opportunity for cam girls and viewers to see what’s new in the industry and who to watch for.
“You have to think of yourself as a star, and the way you respond to your fans is a little bit of your stardust, and the fans who participate in your room become mini-stars as a result of that.”

Over the past year, camming has made its way to the mainstream with CAM4 and o0pepper0o being interviewed for ELLE Magazine, and tons of camming news has spread across VICE, Salon, and The Daily Dot itself. So it’s no surprise that an official camming convention was brought to fruition. The Daily Dot was there to cover the action, and they interviewed our very own Nikki Night! Here’s more from the interview:
“I went from a marriage where every single thing I did was wrong, to every single thing I did was hot,” she tells me. “[Before camming], I wouldn’t even wear a short-sleeved shirt because I was self-conscious about my arms. Now, I don’t give a crap who sees what and when. It’s just this unbelievable freedom.”
The secret to achieving this freedom, says Night, is to build your own brand and transform yourself into an “Internet personality.” “The second you become a body with a dildo, just someone saying ‘give me money, give me money, give me money,’ that’s all it is,” she says.
