Cock Rings
What does it do?
The main and most important function of a cock ring is to slow the blood flow to the penis creating harder, stronger and longer lasting erections.
How to use it
While the penis is erect slide the cock ring down over the shaft until it reaches the base. Once placed firmly on the base adjust to size if applicable to the specific style of ring you are using. Some cock rings allow the user to adjust its size while others do not.
Basic
The basic style cock rings are simple with no bells and whistles but still do the job. It is a great option for men who have never used cock rings before and want to give them a try. They are not adjustable in size and the ring will stretch to fit the users girth.
Lasso Style
Just like the basic but allows for the wearer to adjust to his girth. This style of cock ring works by allowing the wearer to slide the adjustment beads upwards to tighten the ring or downwards to loosen it. Just as the picture shows the wearer should never tighten to the point of discomfort or over tightening as seen in the example above. The grip should be firm but not causing pain.
Ball & Chain
Cock rings that go around the shaft of the penis and the testicles have also been known as testicle cuffs.
When a man ejaculates his testicles are elevated and brought closer to his body thus the idea behind already having them elevated is that the wearer will be rewarded with a more intense orgasm.
Keeping them elevated does not allow as much movement and takes away some of the stimulation and sensitivity allowing the ability to keep a longer erection.
Tips:
Start with larger cock rings with less constriction and tension and work your way down to smaller ones.
Place the ring onto the erection when it is at its most erect to keep it that way or when flaccid to build up a slow erection.
If using lubricant use it after the ring has been fit onto the base of the penis. Using lubricant before may alter the fit and grip and it is possible you will not get as tight of a seal as desired. Lube is also made to make things slippery. If too much lubricant is on the base of the penis the cock ring may just slip out-of-place.
Comfort is the most important thing. Make sure you pay attention to your body and the threshold of constriction your penis can take before it feels uncomfortable or painful. Pain, although pleasurable for some in this case is a sign you may actually be doing damage.
There are a lot more of variety of cock rings out there but this should cover the basics for anyone looking to try them for the first time or switch things up from basic rings.
Have fun!
